Welcome to Wealthy Enough - my weekly newsletter where I share actionable insights to build your life of Enough.
We are all emotional, when it comes to setting up the BEST investment strategy for ourselves. But do we really think about how to protect them? Well, I’ve tried to cover this topic today.
Because of the war in Iran, global oil prices have already jumped more than 25 percent in a very short time,

and fuel costs are rising for consumers everywhere. In countries like Australia, petrol prices have spiked, and the Reserve Bank openly warned that this will add pressure to inflation (surprise surprise!) and they have already raised the interest rates (yet again!).

That higher cost flows into almost everything we buy: food, clothing, travel, rent, even online shopping.
So how does it all translate into real life for you and me?
Well, First the bad news: higher energy and food prices feel like a tax on households – the money you used to save or invest now gets eaten up even more just to survive. Now with Reserve Bank raising the interest rates to fight inflation, borrowing got more expensive – mortgages, credit cards, business loans – which can slow growth and pressure stock markets.
But it’s not all that grim and to be honest the US stock market have shown real positive growth over the past few weeks.

1-month’s growth!
So the goal is not to “run away” from investing, but to adjust your strategy so you’re not over-exposed to the wrong risks.
So Whether you’re in New York, Toronto, London, Mumbai or Sydney, the principles to protect yourself are very similar. I’ve covered the whole thing here:
