You probably have heard about the “Power of compounding”, and yet wonder when you’re going to experience this.
You've done ‘almost’ everything right. You’ve opened an investment account. You’ve automated the deposits. And yet, month after month, the number barely moves. There MUST be something that’s NOT right.
Or maybe not! See, Compound interest is a percentage. And a percentage applied to a small number will produce a small result, no matter how many years you wait. If you have $2,000 invested and you earn very good that year let’s say 10%, you've made $200, it is a small number and it's not going to feel like the chart that’s been shown to you.
